"Who do you say that I am"
Who do we think Jesus is and who does he say that we are?
Print off and scatter 20-30 of these pictures of Jesus in various guises (as Alpha and Omega, carpenter, shepherd teacher, healer, woman, black, friend, activist, criminal, Lego Jesus™, bread, water, light, rock, Word of God etc) and ask people to select the one they find most attractive and why. Also asking people to discuss the ones they don't relate to and why.
Passage: When Jesus asks Peter the questions "Who do people say that I am?" and "Who do YOU say that I am?".
Note, lamenating the pictures has obvious advantages.
This has worked with all ages I've done it with.
All you need to lead a reflection on the Stations of the cross.
The RAR file contains a service order, powerpoint images of the stations of the cross and a script from World Youth Day.
Rar files compress data for quicker downloads. You need "WinRar" to open this file which can be downloaded at the provided link.
Click the link, choose "save", then run the programme. After doing this download the Way of the cross file and open it to find the three files.
Enjoy.

Part one of Two.
This study/workshop day is for lay-people and clergy who are interested
in examining how space is used in worship. The course will use the
School’s environment to enable participants to look at the importance
of the body in ritual and how an awareness of the senses – voice, visual
arts, sound and touch – is central to an inclusive, participatory worship
experience.
• What makes space sacred? Sizing up your space.
• Embodied worship - why bodies matter.
• Ritual-architectural event - making worship inclusive.
• Seeing is believing - and having ears to hear
• Touching the void - re-membering the body
