Ghosts of Christmas Past
Advent 2008During the next few weeks we will be offering a series of reflections and meditations on an Advent theme. In the first reflection Jools says... "So what is Advent – and how could it be a helpful time for us?Amongst other things we honour the waiting of God's people for the Messiah. We remember the longing of the prophets and others for the beginning of God's kingdom on earth. We celebrate the possibility of the fulfilment of that dream held by humanity for hundreds of years - believing that in some way Christ will "come again" into a world that needs him so very much."Do pop in an take a look during Advent and offer up any of your own thoughts! From here to there
Researcher seeks virtual rats

(I am in my final year of a Sociology degree) I have been helping to analyse some of the 2008 User Survey data and now I am moving on to my own research project. The aim of my research is to look at to what extent it might be possible for an online religious community such as St Pixels to replace attendance at offline churches.MousematsA Special Offer![]() Here, for a few weeks only, is your chance to own a special mouse-mat (or mousepad) with the pictures of your own best online friends (and possibly a few favourite fiends as well )More here ...
